Yesterday the fashion world ended the fashion month, and me very symbolically started my week off. So in a very weird way (thinking to myself) fashion and I are taking some time off to reflect. I was following fashion shows since day one when it started in NYC, and finished yesterday watching Louis Vuitton grand finale in a palace. I was saving my favourite looks on my Pinterest board, and today I decided to do a countdown on my favourite moments and looks from the fashion month.

First things first. Hands down the best SHOW was Gucci. I've never been a fan of the brand, but I've always been a fan of magic creatures, so when I saw dragons on the runway I suddenly became a big fan of designer's Alessandro Michele imagination and creativity. It was a show from literally another world. There were models walking down the runway with third eyes, holding their heads, lizards and dragons. Some of them reminded me of characters from Harry Potter...maybe that's the reason why I loved it so much. The mood was created by mysterious music that included the beeping sound from the surgery room, so it built even more tension. So here are my favourite moments from Gucci Fall Winter 2018.

Show is important in fashion weeks, but that's not originally why everyone travels across the world to see the fashion shows. My absolute favourite this season was The Row. Oh, how the Olsens perfected their style. It's oversized silhouettes and sculpturesque backdrop made me want to save every single look of the collection. Incredible uniform looks, organically flowing fabrics and shapes has everything a minimal wardrobe lover wants. What I love the most about The Row is the mix of boho chic in oversized shapes and the chic minimal polished looks combined. Thank you again, Olsens!

I love big sweaters and layering in cold season, and I'm sure I'll be saving this sweater with metal rings idea for the next fall. New sweater detailing from Altuzarra.
Layers, straight cuts, earth tones and uniform dressing from Lemaire.

Coats and strict femininity from Victoria Beckham.

I was waiting for the new Celine collection with a new art director Hedi Slimane ever since it was publicly announced like the most exciting thing of the month, but apparently the change has slowed down the creative process, so there was no fashion show, only the presentation. Anyway, me as a loyal Celine fan could not skip it. Amazing silhouettes and mood as always.

See you later. Time to pack for Mallorca!
